Judge Andrew Napolitano discusses ND’s new health care law

On September 11, 2010, the NDPC held its 3rd annual Free Market Forum in Fargo. The keynote speaker at the event was Dr. Thomas Woods of the Mises Institute, who spoke about his new book Nullification and about the Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution (the speech is below). The topic was so timely, C-SPAN2 covered our event, which was used as a way to educate citizens and lawmakers about the reasons why North Dakota should stand up to the federal government.

Flash forward to April, 2011. The North Dakota legislature passed a bill (SB2309) that declares Obamacare to be unconstitutional, declares that no citizen can be forced to participate in it, and gives North Dakota standing to file more lawsuits against the federal government.

The bill was important enough that Judge Andrew Napolitano discussed it on his popular TV show Freedom Watch.
